Hemish Jewelry by Robert Chinana

The Jemez jeweler and silversmith can never retire as ceremonies are repeated annually and traditional jewelry marks significant occasions from birth through birthdays. Robert Chinana of the Hemish Nation designed and created ceremonial pieces and fine jewelry for decades. Now as a village elder, Mr. Chinana no longer works on his jewelry like before.

For the first time, Hemish Jewelry by Robert Chinana is available online. His work is authentic and heartfelt. Human hands calloused by a lifetime of manual labor, traditional farming, and silversmithing crafted each piece. Perceived imperfections defy machine-made “Southwestern Inspired” jewelry. The remaining inventory will not be replaced.

Look at the photos carefully when deciding if a piece of genuine Native American jewelry is right for you. Uncle Robert’s pieces are truly one-of-a-kind.
